Content Editor - Golf Division

EssentiallySports is looking for a skilled Content Editor to join our editorial team in the Golf division.

We are one of the world's leading sports entertainment digital media publications, achieving 100M+ page views a month.

The editorial team verifies data accuracy and facts, proofreads and enhances content quality before publication on our website.

While we value inherent skills and talent, we believe intent, attitude and passion matter more than anything else.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Edit and publish 20-25 articles daily, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Proofread articles for errors, check plagiarism and verify fact accuracy.
  • Research and identify incorrect claims to maintain content integrity.
  • Mentor and guide writers to refine their performance, output and quality.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations of writers in the Golf division.
  • Undertake additional duties as instructed by the Editorial Team Lead.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6-12 months experience in proofreading and/or content editing.
  • Prior experience leading a team of writers is advantageous.
