Job Summary

The Senior Concrete Technologist will lead our regional concrete technologist team, overseeing concrete trials, mix designs, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal product performance. As the lead technical expert for regional projects, this role will work closely with clients, sales teams, and internal technical teams to guarantee that admixtures meet or exceed customer expectations.

    • Ensure the team stays up-to-date with industry advancements, raw materials, and best practices by facilitating training and knowledge sharing.\

  • Technical Expertise & Product Performance\

    • Act as the lead technical expert for all regional projects, ensuring products meet or exceed customer requirements.\
    • Work closely with clients to tailor product trials based on their specific requirements and materials.\
    • Adjust product formulations based on trial feedback and performance data to optimize quality, cost-efficiency, and market competitiveness.\
    • Collaborate with the National Technical Manager to ensure admixture costs are optimized while maintaining high performance.\

  • Customer Engagement & Issue Resolution\
    • \
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction with products and services.\
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for handling customer complaints and technical concerns related to admixtures.\
    • Conduct on-site investigations for complaints, analyze root causes, and provide prompt and effective solutions in coordination with QC and the National Technical Manager.\

  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement\

    • Report daily progress and key activities, including site trial results, product performance updates, customer feedback, and challenges encountered.\
    • Provide insights and recommendations for product improvements and adjustments based on regional feedback and technical developments.\
    • Identify new product opportunities, technological advancements, and emerging trends to enhance market presence and competitiveness.\

  • Collaboration with Sales & Marketing\

    • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to achieve regional sales targets by providing technical support.\
    • Assist in product positioning by ensuring alignment between technical capabilities and customer needs.\

Qualifications & Requirements

\

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • \
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.\
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in concrete technology, admixtures, or related fields.\
  • Strong knowledge of concrete mix design, product trials, and troubleshooting.\
  • Experience with admixture formulations, raw materials, and quality control standards.\
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.\
  • Willingness to travel for site visits, client meetings, and technical investigations.\
