Art Director Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Art Director to lead our team in creating exceptional 3D projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the overall visual style, tone, and artistic vision for 3D projects.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 3D artists, including modelers, texture artists, and animators.
  • Collaborate with game designers and developers to ensure art aligns with project goals and technical limitations.
  • Implement and refine the 3D art pipeline and production workflow.
  • Review and approve art assets and deliverables to maintain high artistic quality and consistency.
  • Create initial concepts, visual guides, and storyboards to communicate artistic direction.
  • Evaluate and adjust art deliverables to meet deadlines.
  • Stay current with industry trends, new software, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in fine arts, graphic design, animation, or related field.
  • 8+ years in 3D art production, with at least 2-3 years in leadership or senior artist role.
Required Skills and Expertise:
  • Industry-standard 3D software (Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, ZBrush), texturing and sculpting tools (Substance Painter, Adobe Creative Suite), real-time rendering engines (Unity or Unreal Engine), and technical art fundamentals.
  • Team management, mentorship, verbal and written communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, creative and critical-thinking, and visual quality control.

Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and experience with AR/VR platforms.
