Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and possess strong fundamentals in Go language, Python, or Nodejs, with a willingness to work with TypeScript.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Product Managers and customer-facing teams to translate epics into technical requirements.
  • Create high- and low-level designs of software components.
  • Write scalable, testable, efficient, and maintainable code to implement designs.
  • Create and execute unit and integration tests.
  • Conduct design and code reviews.
  • Investigate customer-reported problems and identify root causes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience with TypeScript, Go language programming, and other backend technologies like NodeJS/ExpressJS, preferably in Security/Enterprise/SaaS products.
  • Exposure to one or more cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containers, and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, REST APIs, databases like PostgreSQL/mongodb, distributed systems, data engineering technologies, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of modern SDLC practices, Agile methodologies, tools like Jira, and software configuration tools like GitHub.
  • Capable of balancing multiple priorities and remaining flexible in a changing environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Interview Process

The interview process consists of a screening call, followed by three technical discussions: two from the US and one from India. The selected candidate can expect a competitive salary package and benefits.
