Integrated Wireless Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Oracle R12 E-Business Tax Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Oracle E-Business Suite, particularly in the tax engine.

About the Role

This role involves implementing, configuring, and supporting the Oracle E-Business Suite's tax engine to meet an organization's global tax compliance needs. The consultant will specialize in designing and maintaining tax setups, integrations, and reporting solutions in line with corporate and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementation and Configuration:
    • Design and configure EBTax modules to manage tax rules, regimes, rates, and applicability for different countries.
    • Implement tax rules for VAT, GST, withholding taxes, and other direct/indirect taxes.
    • Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations.
  • Integration and Collaboration:
    • Integrate EBTax with modules such as Accounts Payables (AP), Accounts Receivables (AR), Order Management (OM), and Purchasing.
    • Collaborate with functional teams, tax departments, and third-party systems like tax reporting software (e.g., Avalara or Vertex).
  • Customizations and Extensions:
    • Develop custom tax determination rules using EBTax APIs or templates.
    • Configure exemptions, exceptions, and special handling cases for tax scenarios.
  • Reporting and Compliance:
    • Generate and customize tax reports for filing purposes (e.g., VAT/GST returns).
    • Support audit requirements by providing tax-related data and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Testing and Support:
    • Perform unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing for EBTax setups.
    • Provide end-user training and ongoing support for EBTax configurations.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Oracle R12 Financial modules, including EBTax, AR, AP, and GL.
    • Knowledge of SQL.
    • Experience with tax APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Functional Knowledge:
    • In-depth understanding of global tax regulations (e.g., VAT, GST, sales tax).
    • Ability to map business requirements into Oracle EBTax setups.
  • Certifications:
    • Oracle Financials Certified Implementation Specialist or relevant Oracle certifications.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving abilities for resolving tax configuration issues.
    • Effective communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience with Oracle EBS, with a strong focus on EBTax module.
  • Exposure to multi-country and multi-currency tax setups.
  • Prior involvement in end-to-end Oracle EBS implementation projects.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
