Job Title: Data Platform Engineering Lead

 

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a robust semantic layer, including dbt pipelines.
  • Own schema design, documentation, and data contracts for the analytics and application layer.
  • Define and enforce data platform best practices, versioning, and governance for all data models.
  • Implement data testing, observability, and quality automation to ensure reliability at scale.
  • Guide tool selection and platform evolution across the modern data stack.

 

Key Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in backend or data engineering roles.
  • Deep expertise designing and maintaining normalized and dimensional data models.
  • Advanced skills in dbt (macros, packages, tests, modularization).
  • Expert in SQL, with a focus on PostgreSQL.
  • Strong Python scripting for transformation logic and automation.
