Job Title: PHP Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our web applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • PHP Development: Strong understanding of core PHP and object-oriented programming principles.
  • CodeIgniter Framework: Experience working with both legacy (CI 1) and modern (CI 4) versions of the CodeIgniter framework.
  • Python Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Database Management: Hands-on experience in designing, optimizing, and managing MySQL databases.
  • JavaScript Knowledge: Solid knowledge of JavaScript for both client-side functionality and integration with backend services.
  • Code Review: Experience in performing peer code reviews, ensuring code quality, readability, and adherence to best practices.
  • Unit Testing: Familiarity with writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure code reliability and regression prevention.
  • Version Control: Proficient with Git for version control, branching, and collaborative development.
  • API Integration: Experience working with RESTful APIs for both consuming and creating endpoints.
  • Performance Optimization: Understanding of performance tuning on both frontend and backend.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality products.
  • Technical Leadership: Guide team members in adopting best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address them.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advocate for best engineering practices.
  • Documentation: Ensure technical documentation and architectural diagrams are well maintained.
