Information Security Expert

As a seasoned Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day cyber security risk management, compliance, and assurance activities across the firm. Your primary objective will be to drive the implementation of cyber security projects and assessments in the areas of governance and risk.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assess cyber security controls, support the collection of evidence, coordinate walkthroughs and meetings, and facilitate the assessment/audit effort. Additionally, you will review information security-related information from client contracts to ensure compatibility with Transcend's internal Cyber Security implementations, conduct gap analyses, and suggest modifications to protect both parties' interests.

Timely reporting of status and cyber security metrics to senior management is also expected. Furthermore, you will provide support for internal and external audits related to cybersecurity compliance, assist in the remediation of audit findings, and implement corrective actions.

  • Conduct and manage third-party risk assessments to evaluate Transcend products and infrastructure, managing information risks and protecting company data.
  • Develop and implement effective information security strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards.

For this role, we are seeking a highly skilled professional with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • ~7-10 years of experience in cyber security audit and/or compliance.
  • Strong implementation or assessment experience of NIST Cyber Security Framework standards and requirements.
  • Proven track record and experience in executing information security-related projects in a global company.
  • Experience supporting cyber security audits by internal audit or other third parties (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO Cloud Security).
  • Experience with infrastructure operations and processes associated with IT service management in an enterprise-level organization.
  • Ability to present to large audiences and engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in using cybersecurity tools and technologies.
