About This Role
This role is part of the MENA DEX sustainability team, responsible for controlling buyer abuse and protecting genuine customers from bad actors via product and program solutions. The team achieves this through a combination of automated and manual investigations of buyers and sellers on our marketplaces (AE, SA, and EG).
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will investigate suspicious orders placed in MENA marketplaces and take appropriate actions based on processes, tools, and high-judgment decisions. Responsibilities will span multiple processes, functions, and locations, with a focus on achieving and exceeding team-defined metrics through sustainable change or process improvement.
Key tasks include:
- Analyzing key business levers to identify trends and proactively act to improve efficiency and reduce time to identify new fraud modus operandi.
- Ensuring Amazon leads the curve in identifying and preventing new abuse/fraud attacks.
- Sharing ideas with product teams that positively influence future product development by using exposure and learnings of abuse use-cases, providing data on abuse trends, and fraud issues impacting the marketplace.
- Implementing best-in-class processes and practices for maintaining and exceeding productivity and quality service level agreements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent English language skills, including reading, writing, and speaking fluently. Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications is also essential. Additionally, you will need to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. Prior experience in payments or e-commerce and 1+ years of customer service experience are highly desirable.
