Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect to lead and support architectural design activities on projects in the North America region. The successful candidate will report to a senior team leader and will assist in building a professional team to support Commercial and Aviation Projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist project teams and work on a variety of design projects from conceptual design through construction administration.
  • Develop, modify, and review construction drawings and specifications for commercial facilities.
  • Assist in the development of interiors based on client vision and architectural needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers.
  • Guide the 3D visualization team in developing concepts and final architectural rendering.
  • Build effective relationships with existing clients, customers, and contractors to help develop new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in architecture from an accredited program.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic understanding of IBC Codes, ADA Standards and Life safety standards.
  • Experience in Commercial, Industrial and Warehouse facilities are preferred.
  • A committed team player able to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to self-check and produce accurate work.
  • Ability to work across disciplines to develop a coordinated design package.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
  • Strong experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Professional Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is necessary.
  • Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD and Sketchup is mandatory.
  • Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, codes, and procedures within the architecture industry.
