The Claims Indexer role is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our team at EXL. In this position, you will play a critical role in processing insurance claims efficiently and accurately.


Responsibilities
">
  1. Assess scanned documents and emails to identify key information
  2. Match documents accurately to the corresponding claim and update the document category
  3. Exception handling to ensure that all claims are processed correctly
  4. Collate and report daily indexing activities to the Business Indexing Team Leader
  5. Understand and adhere to Data Protection Act and industry guidelines
  6. Work efficiently to minimize turnaround time while maintaining quality standards
  7. Meet Key Performance Indicators set by the business
  8. Maintain accurate records and access information systems as required
  9. Comply with Data Protection Act and Client Security Policy and Procedures

Requirements
">
  • Good computer navigation skills and keyboarding skills
  • Familiarity with MS Office
  • Necessary knowledge of business concepts to perform the job effectively
  • Able to handle complex cases with high-level decision making
  • Makes timely decisions with good judgment
  • Takes ownership of specific objectives and achieves them
  • Responsible for handling high volumes of transactions
  • Effectively balances quality, timelines, and productivity standards

  • Knowledge and exposure to any motor insurance claim process

Estimated Salary: ₹ 8,00,000 per annum
