GIS Career Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled GIS professional to join our team. This role requires a strong background in Geographic Information Systems and experience with spatial data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement GIS solutions using various software platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS systems with other business applications.
  • Perform spatial data analysis, data modeling, and database development.
  • Develop and maintain geodatabases, map services, and spatial datasets.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize GIS system performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a software developer implementing GIS solutions.
  • Experience with publishing and administering map services using GeoServer and ArcGIS Server.
  • Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, Java, and TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of open-source GIS software like GeoServer, PostGIS, GDAL, GeoPandas, and GeoSpark.
  • Experience working with ESRI APIs and tools (ArcObjects, Geoprocessing, ArcGIS Desktop/Server/Portal, ArcGIS Online).
  • Knowledge of web frameworks such as Angular, React, Node.js, and Openlayers.
  • Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL.
