Job Title: Cloud Data Architect

Description:

As a Cloud Data Architect, you will design and develop scalable data pipelines using cloud-based technologies. This role requires expertise in building data architectures that integrate multiple systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data pipelines using AWS Glue, Python, EMR/Spark, and Kafka/Kinesis streaming.
  • Develop relational databases with a preference for Aurora Postgres.
  • Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to meet business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues by analyzing logs and metrics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and develop solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Document data pipelines and procedures for future reference.
Required Skills:
  • Proven experience working with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, including services like Aurora/RDS, Glue, Lambda, EC2, S3, EMR, Step Functions, CloudTrail, and CloudWatch.
  • Hands-on experience building data pipelines using Glue, Python, EMR/Spark, and Kafka/Kinesis streaming.
  • Extensive experience designing and developing relational databases, with a preference for Aurora Postgres.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data quality issues.
