Electrical Service Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Service Engineer to join our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering and proven experience in installing, servicing, and maintaining electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • System Maintenance: Install, service, and maintain electrical systems, control panels, and industrial machinery.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in equipment such as motors, drives, PLCs, and HMIs.
  • Commissioning and Testing: Support commissioning and testing of new machines and equipment.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to clients and operators regarding equipment usage and performance.
  • Documentation: Maintain service reports, documentation, and records of work completed.
  • Teamwork: Coordinate with project, design, and automation teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Field Work: Travel to customer sites for service, breakdown support, and on-site inspections.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: BE/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: Proven experience as an Electrical Service Engineer or similar role.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of PLC programming, HMI operation, and automation systems. Familiarity with motors, drives, sensors, and control circuits.
  • Cognitive Abilities: Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

As a member of our team, you should be willing to travel and work in field service environments. A strong communication skillset and customer service orientation are also essential for success in this role.
