Job Title: PCB Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled PCB design specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both software development and design, with experience working on printed circuit board (PCB) computer-aided design (CAD) libraries.

The successful candidate will be proficient in using various CAD tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics Expedition, and OrCAD/Capture CIS.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain PCB CAD libraries including schematic symbols, footprints, and parametric data.
  • Generate footprints for Surface Mount Devices (SMD), Through Hole Technology (THT), connectors, and complex IC packages as per IPC-7351 standards.
  • Validate Bill of Materials (BOMs), electrical attributes, package information, and component descriptions.
  • Process new part requests using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and maintain library updates.
  • Cross-check datasheets, schematics, and footprints to ensure accuracy in pin sequencing and package details.
  • Collaborate with design engineers, manufacturing teams, and suppliers to ensure manufacturability and compliance.
  • Maintain documentation, follow standard naming conventions, and ensure smooth library integration with Electronic Computer-Aided Design (ECAD)/Mechanical Computer-Aided Design (MCAD) tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in CAD Tools: Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics Expedition, OrCAD/Capture CIS

Experience with PLM Systems: Windchill, Target PLM, Teamcenter, Cockpit Server
