Job Title: Operations and Equipment Specialist

Job Description

The role involves fostering innovation and improving customer experience by helping the R&D team with equipment validations, new equipment introduction, equipment maintenance in the R&D operations, and overall operations upkeep of the Lab. Key responsibilities include performing risk assessments, developing documentation for equipment and facility validation, providing design inputs for new process equipment/utilities, assisting in the initiation of installation of new equipment/utilities, driving continuous improvement initiatives, drawing process maps, generating mass and energy balances, maintaining engineering documentation and archival, and commissioning process equipment and associated utilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a bachelor's or master's degree in instrumentation engineering, along with 5-6 years of experience in life science/Biotech or relevant R&D operations field. Additionally, you should have strong digital literacy, including Microsoft office, excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, highly detailed and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and handle time optimally, customer-oriented, flexible to work in shifts, familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards, plans and organizes work with minimal supervision, and experience in working with ERP systems is an added advantage.
