Oracle Database Administrator

Job Description:

As an Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle databases. This includes ensuring the security, performance, and availability of databases, as well as providing technical support to development teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Oracle database architectures to meet business requirements
  • Configure and troubleshoot Oracle database software
  • Develop and maintain database security policies and procedures
  • Provide technical support to development teams on database-related issues
  • Monitor and optimize database performance
  • Implement backup and recovery policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of experience with Oracle databases
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
  • Experience with database design and implementation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good understanding of operating systems like Linux
