Job Summary:

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Accounting Manager to oversee our offshore accounting operations. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and leading a team of accounting professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise accounting teams to achieve operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement effective accounting processes and procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian GAAP and relevant tax regulations, including GST/HST filings and CRA tax submissions.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in managing accounting teams and end-to-end accounting processes, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
  • Knowledge of cloud accounting software, such as QuickBooks Online or Zoho, is essential.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is preferred but not mandatory if relevant experience is met.
