Design Engineer for Data Management

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing products that meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.

  • Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Responsibilities:
  1. Data integrity and security: You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of product lifecycle data in our engineering tools.
  2. Item record creation: You will create item records using consistent naming conventions, select relevant data fields, and link processes to items or changes.
  3. Change order creation: You will create change orders with consistent summaries and descriptions, following company approval and tracking processes.
  4. Data entry: You will enter data into our database, including requests and change orders, according to company procedures.
  5. Integration issues: You will resolve integration issues and implement processes to improve data integrity and efficiency.
  6. Support engineering: You will support engineering teams with data attributes and architecture.
  7. Experience: 2-3 years of experience in product design and development, preferably with a focus on data management and PLM.
  8. Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and PLM tools, excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
