Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled QA Tester to join our team at Code Orion and ensure the highest standards of quality, reliability, and user engagement in our slot games.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with experience in game testing, bug identification, and compliance testing. You will work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to resolve issues and enhance user experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Game Testing: Perform thorough testing of slot games across multiple platforms (desktop, mobile, tablet) to identify defects and ensure seamless gameplay.
  • Bug Identification: Use issue-tracking tools like JIRA or Trello to document and track defects, ensuring efficient resolution and minimal downtime.
  • Compliance Testing: Verify that our slot games comply with industry regulations, including RNG validation and gambling jurisdiction standards.
  • Performance Analysis: Test game performance under varying network conditions and device specifications to ensure optimal gaming experience.
  • Regression Testing: Validate fixes and ensure existing functionalities remain intact after updates.
  • Automation: Develop and execute automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and streamline workflows.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2+ years as a QA Tester, preferably in the online gambling or gaming industry.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with QA tools and processes (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman). Basic knowledge of programming (e.g., Python, Java) is a plus.
  • Slot Gaming Knowledge: Strong understanding of slot game mechanics, payout structures, and random number generators (RNG).
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and reproduce subtle bugs in complex systems.
  • Problem Solving: Analytical mindset with excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Regulatory Understanding: Knowledge of industry standards like GLI, eCOGRA, or similar certifications.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to document findings and collaborate effectively.
