About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Financial Expert who will oversee our financial operations, including budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and analysis. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing financial reporting, taxation, and compliance. Additionally, they will provide financial guidance and support to our management team.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
  • Financial Controls and Planning
    • Conduct a health check of our financials to identify overlaps and anomalies, optimize cash flow, and prevent fraud.
    • Review resource and capacity utilization analysis on the 5th of every month.
    • Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of our financial controls, risk management systems, and operational processes.
    • Assess and ensure our compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies in India.
    • Provide management with accurate and timely reports on financial audit findings, including recommendations for improvement.
  • Management Information System
    • Generate and review monthly MIS reports, providing insightful analysis and presenting them to the CEO on the 5th of every month.
  • Statutory and Tax Compliances
    • Oversee the team's accountability and finalization of accounts in our ERP system.
    • Close the books, including journal entries, accruals, cutoff testing, and report preparation.
    • Perform accounts reconciliation, AR, AP, payroll, tax returns, and tax payments.

Requirements
  • A Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certification, such as CFA, CPA, or CMA, is a plus.
  • Experience in financial leadership roles from a B2C business operations company, preferably in the health and wellness industry.
  • Exposure to digital payment solutions and payment gateways.
  • Demonstrated financial leadership experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, with strong analytical skills and experience working with and presenting to the board of directors.
  • High personal and professional integrity.
  • Experience and ability to identify stakeholders' needs and concerns and provide proactive solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and fund accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively, and ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize.
