Job Title: Fixed Income Portfolio Manager

We are seeking an experienced Fixed Income Portfolio Manager to join our team.

About the Role:

  • Portfolio Management: Develop and implement fixed income investment strategies to achieve optimal returns and manage risk.
  • Yield Analysis: Calculate yield to maturity (YTM) for various fixed-income securities and assess their potential returns.
  • Presentation Value Assessment: Determine the present value of securities and evaluate market pricing strategies.
  • Market Research: Compare different types of fixed-income investments, such as corporate bonds, fixed deposits, and mutual funds.
  • Data Analysis: Develop financial models in Excel, Python, or R to analyze risk and return metrics.
  • Machine Learning: Implement AI-driven approaches for analyzing credit risk and probability of default.
  • Risk Assessment: Work on Value at Risk (VaR) simulations and machine learning models for risk assessment.
  • Credit Research: Analyze corporate bond spreads, relative valuations, and structured finance instruments.
  • Financial Modelling: Conduct data cleaning and visualization for sovereign credit research and CDS time series data.
  • Project Evaluation: Assist in the structuring and evaluation of project finance and asset-backed securities.
  • Excel Skills: Understand Microsoft Excel AI tools for financial modelling.
  • Credit Derivatives: Develop and test AI models for credit derivatives and portfolio risk assessment.
  • Fintech Tools: Work on FinTech tools like Virtual Risk Analyser and Virtual Portfolio Analyser.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fixed income portfolio management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Excel, Python, and/or R programming languages.
  • Experience with machine learning and data visualization tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
