Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy General Manager Finance to join our team. As a key member of the leadership group, you will be responsible for analyzing financial and operational results to understand business performance on a weekly and monthly basis.

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances, and provide accurate and timely commentary to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed.
  • Monitor and review performance trackers on a regular basis, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategic plans to address them.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely completion of reforecasting, forecasting, and budgeting tasks.
  • Develop and maintain Key Performance Metrics (KPMs) for business units, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of operating costs and overheads, identifying areas for cost reduction and implementing effective solutions.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports to shareholders and other stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Chartered Accountant designation with 10-15 years of experience in finance and accounting.
  • Experience working with Oracle ERP systems is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent collaborative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Data scientist experience is an asset.
