Job Title: High-Performing Oracle Exadata Database Expert

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Oracle Exadata Database Administrator to join our team. As a critical member of our Advisory Services organization, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of Oracle RDBMS systems, including Exadata and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Your primary goal will be to ensure availability and consistent performance for our clients.

This is a hands-on position that requires solid technical skills, cloud migration experience, and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. You will engage with our assigned client base, develop new customer transition plans, administer and optimize Oracle Exadata systems, and manage databases on OCI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement, configure, and maintain Oracle RDBMS systems, including Exadata and OCI.
  • Ensure continuous communications in a consultative approach with our clients.
  • Administer and optimize Oracle Exadata systems, including compute nodes, storage cells, and InfiniBand.
  • Manage databases on OCI, including provisioning, patching, backup, and recovery.
  • Lead end-to-end cloud migration initiatives from on-premises to OCI.
  • Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Monitor and tune performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and SQL tuning tools.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects and application teams to support hybrid and cloud-native deployments.
  • Ensure database security, compliance, and audit readiness across Exadata and OCI environments.
  • Participate in capacity planning, cloud migration strategies, and architecture reviews.
