Senior Software Professional

About this role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced software professional to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end web-based solutions using modern technologies.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PHP and Laravel, with 8+ years of experience in software development. Additionally, they should have hands-on experience with front-end frameworks like Angular, and a deep understanding of MVC REST API design and modern web application architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and clean code within the Laravel framework.
  • Develop responsive and dynamic front-end applications using Angular.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end applications and third-party integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in PHP and Laravel.
  • Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks like Angular.
  • Deep understanding of MVC REST API design and modern web application architecture.
  • Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript fundamentals.
  • 5+ years of experience working with relational databases (MySQL, MS SQL, Postgres SQL).
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and architecting complex software systems.
  • Experience with third-party API integrations, authentication standards (OAuth2, JWT), and role-based access control.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and deployment practices.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) – AWS preferred.
  • Proficiency in Git, automated testing, and performance optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Practical experience working in Agile development (scrum) with exposure to JIRA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience collaborating across global teams.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a Master's preferred.
  • 8+ years of proven experience.
  • Experience mentoring junior developers or leading a small development team is a plus.
