Job Description

As a Mechanical Handling Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of mechanical equipment and materials within our facilities. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan, schedule, and conduct work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  2. Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
  3. Recommends improvements to ensure most efficient and cost-effective handling procedures.
  4. Shall have hands-on knowledge in 3D review software like S3D, Aveva, and NAVIS Simulate.


Requirements:
  1. A graduation in Mechanical or allied Engineering is required.
  2. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, with average experience ranging from 7-10 years.
  3. Experience in handling concept of various equipment and package in FPSO/Offshore facility.
  4. Should have problem-solving capabilities for handling related issues with various inter-disciplines.
  5. Knowledge in various handling equipment and their capabilities.
  6. Knowledge of understanding and reviewing various package drawings and assessing handling aspects.
  7. Responsible for preparing Mechanical handling study report and presentations.
  8. Regularly participates in Model Review Session to present the handling details and address all material handling-related queries.
