Embedded Systems Developer

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing firmware solutions for cutting-edge products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality firmware for embedded systems using C++ and RTOS (such as Zephyr).
  • Design and implement data acquisition modules and bring up new boards, utilizing strong debugging skills to troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware peripherals and ensure seamless system operation.
  • Utilize version control systems like Git and project management tools such as Jira and Confluence to track progress and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Apply programming knowledge in Python and shell scripting to automate tasks and improve efficiency.

Beyond the essential requirements, possessing experience with U-Boot, Embedded Linux, open-source components, and communication interfaces like I2C, SPI, RS232/485, and USB would be beneficial. Furthermore, having a solid understanding of industrial protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, and REST, as well as proficiency in MQTT, HTTP, BLE, Wi-Fi, and Webserver technologies, is preferred.

Requirements
  • Strong foundation in software development, including C++, Python, and shell scripting.
  • Experience with embedded systems and RTOS, such as Zephyr.
  • Familiarity with data acquisition modules and board bring-up.
  • Proficiency in debugging tools and techniques.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

While not necessary, experience with the following technologies would be advantageous:

  • U-Boot, Embedded Linux, open-source components.
  • Communication interfaces: I2C, SPI, RS232/485, and USB.
  • Industrial protocols: Ethernet, Modbus, and REST.
