Medical Coding Specialist

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Coding Specialist to join our team. As an expert in ICD-10 coding, you will be responsible for accurately transforming medical diagnoses and procedures into designated alphanumerical codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transform medical diagnoses and procedures into ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes with high accuracy
- Meet daily coding volumes within specified turnaround times
- Code reports according to client guidelines and maintain operational quality and productivity
- Collaborate with the team to achieve monthly targets with 95% accuracy consistently
- Attend weekly QA meetings and communicate effectively with Quality analysts/Team Leads
Requirements:
- Graduate in Life Science or Paramedical field
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in medical coding
- Strong ability to interpret medical records across various specialties
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work with speed and accuracy, and possess good analytical skills
