Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Interior Designer based in Mumbai. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in space planning, creating construction drawings, and supporting the interior design process.

The Junior Interior Designer will work closely with senior designers and architects to select furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), while coordinating with contractors to ensure project success.

Collaboration and attention to detail are essential in this role. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for aesthetics, colour, material selection, and composition.

They will also possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the ability to coordinate with senior designers, architects, and contractors.

A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is required. Proficiency in software such as Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite is also necessary.

Experience in residential or commercial projects is an added advantage.

The selected candidate will be expected to create accurate 3D models, realistic material applications, lighting, and photorealistic renders.

Key Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
  • Strong command over Rhino, Sketch Up, and V-Ray for high-quality 3D modeling and rendering
  • Working knowledge of Auto CAD for construction drawings and detailing
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for presentation layouts
  • Technical skills: Ability to create accurate 3D models, realistic material applications, lighting, and photorealistic renders
  • Understanding of space planning, interior detailing, and joinery design
  • Competence in preparing presentation boards and visual concepts
  • Design skills: Strong eye for aesthetics, colour, material selection, and composition
  • Ability to translate conceptual ideas into detailed visualizations
  • Soft skills: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, Good communication and teamwork abilities
