About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Active Directory Specialist to join our team in executing a complex enterprise migration initiative.

The successful candidate will work closely with our architect and infrastructure teams to plan, execute, and troubleshoot migrations of AD forests and Entra ID (Azure AD) integration.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced IT professionals to leverage their skills and knowledge in identity management, security, and compliance.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough analysis and documentation of existing AD environments
  • Migrate domain controllers across multiple AD forests
  • Support the transition to Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Assist in DNS migration from Windows to a PaaS-based solution
  • Configure DHCP scopes, conditional forwarders, and stub zones
  • Troubleshoot issues with LDAP, Kerberos, and NTLM authentication
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation
  • Execute infrastructure-as-code using Terraform within CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with team members through Jira and participate in daily standups
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience with Active Directory, including multi-domain or multi-forest environments
  • A solid understanding of:
    • Active Directory
    • Entra ID (Azure AD)
    • PKI and NPS
    • DNS & DHCP (Windows Server and/or PaaS alternatives)
    • LDAP, Kerberos, and NTLM protocols
    • Identity protocols: OIDC, OAuth2, SAML
  • Experience with AD Trusts, Group Policy, OUs, and FSMO roles
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills
  • Comfortable working in hybrid cloud environments
Bonus Skills

Candidates with experience in the following areas will be considered highly desirable:

  • Terraform and infrastructure-as-code concepts
  • CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps preferred)
  • Hybrid identity platforms (e.g., Azure AD Connect, ADFS)
  • Large-scale migrations of legacy apps dependent on AD
  • IT compliance/governance in cloud-native infrastructure
