Design Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing process equipment.

This is a full-time on-site role located in Pune. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, computer-aided design (CAD), electrical engineering, and product design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of general layout (GA) drawing for process equipment.
  • Create BOM for the procurement & fabrication.
  • Drawing revision as per manufacturing & customer feedback.
  • Create 2D and 3D models of process equipment using CAD tools.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with software such as Auto-CAD and Solid edge.
  • Arrangement (GA) drawing and ability to create general detailed fabrication drawing essential.
  • Prepare detailed material take-offs on projects based upon drawings, plans and specifications.
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience of drawing presentation, critical dimensioning, view presentations and parts list preparation.
  • Must have knowledge of manufacturing processes like laser cutting, bending, welding, basic machining.
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience on advance assemblies and layouts with GD&T, surface finishes, welding details and engineering notes.
  • Working knowledge of SAP system (Better to have).
  • Experience in making GA layouts will be an added advantage.
  • At least 1+ years of hands-on experience in Solid edge.
