Job Opportunity: Hardware Design Engineer

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of power electronics systems, including BMS and battery management interfaces.
  • Create system hardware architecture and component specifications for high-voltage battery systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Guide PCB layout for high-power designs, ensuring EMI/EMC compliance and thermal management.
  • Validate and test prototypes in lab and vehicle environments.
  • Maintain compliance with automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100.
  • Select and integrate components like MCUs, ADCs, op-amps, shunt resistors, Hall-effect sensors, and isolation devices.
  • Develop schematics and PCB layouts using tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCAD.

 

Requirements:

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in hardware design engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of power electronics, circuit design, and microcontrollers.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCAD.
  • Familiarity with automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100.
