Job Description:

Senior Project Coordinator - Planning will be responsible for overseeing all scheduling and planning activities as per contract requirements or Client demands. This individual will also be accountable for translating the scope of work of the project into actionable tasks and preparing and updating project progress reports.

Main Responsibilities:

Planning:

  • Developing a comprehensive strategy for executing the project to meet project objectives.
  • Preparing schedules (Project Formulation) using MS Project software.

Monitoring/Checking:

  • Collecting data on actual project progress and comparing it with the plan to evaluate compliance to the plan by interacting with various stakeholders.

Control/Action:

  • Making informed decisions regarding interventions required during the project execution phase to keep the project on-track and meet objectives.
  • Identifying potential risks and taking corrective action accordingly.

Budgeting:

  • Estimating all projected expenses for the project.

Cash Flow Planning:

  • Creating a plan for generating invoices and collecting payments.
  • Establishing a schedule for projected fund disbursements at different stages of the project.

Human Resource Management:

  • Estimating resources required for the project at various stages and allocating them accordingly.

Material Resource Management:

  • Estimating material resources needed for the project.
  • Developing a material take-off plan for the specific project.

Risk Analysis:

  • Anticipating potential risks that may arise during the project.
  • Identifying project risks using CPA (Critical Path Analysis) Method.

Contingency Plan:

  • Developing a mitigation plan for identified risks.

Design & Layout Plan:

  • Creating a design concept model for the project based on driving factors.
  • Preparing SD layouts in the most feasible manner.

Quantity Survey:

  • Determining materials required based on the final layout.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Project.
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to effectively utilize allocated resources and materials for each project.
  • Proficient in computer operations related to MS Office, Autocad, and other technical software programs required for responsibilities.
