Job Title: Back-end Architect

We are seeking an experienced back-end architect to lead the development of our web platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and MongoDB, with strong proficiency in architecture, scaling, and secure development.

About the Role:

  • Lead the development of scalable and secure web applications using Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
  • Architect and optimize MongoDB schemas, queries, and indexes for performance.
  • Own the deployment pipeline (CI/CD), cloud setup, and server scaling strategy.
  • Implement best practices in security, including authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and data protection.
  • Mentor and review junior developers to maintain code quality.
  • Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and ensure high uptime through monitoring, logging, and alerting.
  • Integrate with third-party APIs.
  • Document processes and establish technical SOPs.

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of experience in full-stack development.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express, and TypeScript.
  • Expertise in MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, and aggregation pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud hosting and DevOps, including AWS, GCP, or VPS setups, Docker, and CI/CD.
  • Hands-on knowledge of security audits, scaling strategies, and API optimization.
  • Ability to mentor developers and enforce coding standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and system design skills.
