Job Title: DevOps Support Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and proactive DevOps Support Engineer to provide night shift coverage for our operations. This role requires close collaboration with our US-based team to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of production and non-production systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. They must be proficient in AWS Cloud services, Kubernetes administration, Terraform, and other related tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24x7 support for US DevOps operations during night shifts.
  • Handle ad-hoc support tickets via various channels and direct communication.
  • Monitor critical systems and respond promptly to alerts.
  • Offer first-level support for severe incidents and escalate when necessary.
  • Maintain and support cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch).
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes administration (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting).
  • Terraform expertise for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation.
  • Basic understanding of PostgreSQL and MySQL database operations.
  • Experience with CICD pipelines using Jenkins and ArgoCD.
  • Knowledge of Git (GitHub or Bitbucket).

  • Analytical problem-solving mindset.
  • Willingness to work night shifts on a long-term basis.
