Business Finance Professional

We are seeking an accomplished Business Finance Professional to lead our pricing and revenue optimization efforts. As a key member of the finance team, you will shape strategic pricing frameworks, reduce revenue leakages, and drive data-led financial decisions.

This role plays a crucial part in:

Pricing Strategy Development
  • Designing and implementing pricing frameworks for merchant acquiring and digital payments to maximize profitability.
  • Monitoring market dynamics, interchange fees, and cost structures to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborating with product and business teams to evaluate pricing strategies for new launches or experiments.
Revenue Leakage Mitigation
  • Analyzing transaction-level data to identify mismatches, undercharges, and revenue leakage points.
  • Supporting the implementation of controls and fixes to plug leakages across systems and merchant billing processes.
Financial Partnerships
  • Serving as a finance partner to Product, Engineering, Sales, and Ops teams on pricing and profitability matters.
  • Participating in key business reviews, offering financial insights and pricing recommendations to inform business decisions.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
  • Creating dashboards and models to track pricing health, merchant-level profitability, and recovery metrics.
  • Driving automation and visibility across pricing and revenue dashboards using tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI.

Key requirements include 5-8 years of experience in business finance, pricing, or FP&A roles, with exposure to fintech, payments, or merchant businesses desirable. Qualifications include CA/MBA (Finance) or Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering, Economics, or other quantitative fields.

Essential skills include a strong understanding of merchant acquiring economics, proven ability to conduct financial modelling, pricing strategy, and margin analysis, hands-on experience with Excel, SQL, and familiarity with analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau.
