Golang Developer Position

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Full-stack or Backend developer to join our team working on a new project.

The selected candidate will be part of the Data Acquisition team responsible for building and maintaining our live indexing system. This system takes data from various cart systems (Shopify, Magento) and indexes them into the Searchspring platform.

This position involves:

  • Contributing to the development of a brand new piece of the product from scratch - the data extractor and distributed system of microservices built on Docker and Kubernetes
  • Designing architectural solutions within the team
  • Enhancing code quality through frequent reviews and pair programming, utilizing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
  • Collaborating with other development teams in Poland and the USA/Canada
  • Developing software using Kanban methodologies
  • Opportunities to learn Golang and gain commercial experience with the Go language

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in building, deploying, and maintaining software products
  • Detailed knowledge of one of the languages: Golang, Typescript
  • Understanding of designing architectural solutions
  • Ability to adapt to a distributed work environment
  • Willingness to learn and contribute
  • Excellent English language skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with any of the cart platforms (Shopify, Magento, Big Commerce)
