Kontempore, a pioneering organization, is seeking a seasoned Chartered Accountant to lead its finance and accounts team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial submissions, managing tax payments, and maintaining cash flow statements.

The Role

We are looking for a highly experienced finance professional with 5-10 years of experience in finance, accounts, and taxation. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving our financial strategy and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial submissions, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage tax payments and submissions, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Maintain cash flow statements, asset depreciation, and bank reconciliation statements.
  • Deal with third-party customers for accounts receivables.

Functional Expertise:

  • Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
  • Submit financials, standalone and consolidated, on a quarterly basis.
  • Capitalize fixed assets as per accounting standards.
  • Comply with direct and indirect tax requirements.
  • Monitor bill payable, capex, and open X.
  • Ensure timely payments to vendors, monitor letter of credit, and cash flow management.
  • Conduct statutory audits, IFC audits, internal audits, risk management audits, service tax audits, transfer pricing audits, income tax audits, etc.
  • Develop and adhere to business plans and budgets.
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal financial controls.
  • Responsible for overall insurance at port.
  • Maintain and update assets registers.
  • Liaise with statutory bodies.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and management skills.

Ideal Profile:

  • You are a qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a finance manager role.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data.
  • You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments.
  • You are a self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience.
