Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Front End Software Engineer to join our technology team.

This role involves developing new front-end features for Store Engagement projects, including Digital Store Pages and local outreach. The successful candidate will be working in a highly technical environment with accountability for product development.

The team operates following an agile framework and leverages multiple product teams across various functions.

Key Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including solid understanding of standard data structures and algorithms.
  • Expert level knowledge of ReactJS ecosystem.
  • AWS.
  • Demonstrated experience in web application development for large enterprises.
  • Ability to design and architect Enterprise JavaScript applications using React.Js, Next.Js.
  • Experience with popular ReactJS workflows (such as Redux).
  • Expertise in understanding of web markup (HTML5 and CSS3), JSX and templating technologies.
  • Experience writing unit tests using JavaScript testing frameworks.
  • Proficient understanding of build tools and code version tools, such as Git.
  • Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance.
  • Demonstrated understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
  • Ability to review specifications documents and provide technical inputs on successfully implementing business solutions.
  • Good understanding of browser development tools and performance optimization.
  • Understanding of Sonar and Code Quality Metrics.
  • Ability to work independently on tasks and lead a project to completion.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

  • Python experience.
  • Mentoring or hands-on lead-level experience.
