System Reliability Specialist

We are seeking a System Reliability Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, resilience, and reliability of our SaaS platform.

  • This position will support the development and implementation of technical solutions that drive efficiency and excellence in software development.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in a large organization through a SRE transformation and will be able to provide guidance on automation via scripting and API development.
  • Experience with cloud-based software development, containerization, and monitoring tools is also highly desirable.
  • Responsibilities include incident management, game day coordination, creating and driving metric/observability solutions, supporting production readiness reviews, and collaborating with other technical platforms and partners to engineer automated and integrated solutions.
  • Additionally, this role requires owning and ensuring internal and external SLAs meet expectations, participating in an on-call rotation, and troubleshooting production availability incidents.
  • Required skills and qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or equivalent role, experience working in a large organization through a SRE transformation, and proficiency in automation via scripting and API development.
  • Preferred skills include certifications in Datadog, Kubernetes, Security, and AWS, understanding of ITIL, deep knowledge of SRE and incident management strategies, and experience with issue/incident tracking tools and open-source tools.
