Job Description:

The Packaged/SaaS Application Architect plays a pivotal role in designing cutting-edge, scalable Software as a Service solutions that seamlessly integrate with the overarching enterprise architecture.

Key responsibilities include applying SaaS principles such as multi-tenancy and modularity to drive customization limits, guiding platform use for optimal performance and maintainability, while fostering collaboration with various teams to ensure technical and business requirements are met.

This position demands effective communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Designing and implementing scalable data architectures, including metadata management, data storage and lifecycle, analytics and ML integrations, data security and semantic models within MS Fabric
  • Implementing modern lakehouse architectures using Delta Lake for data versioning, ACID transactions, and schema enforcement
  • Deep understanding of Fabric's core components, including OneLake, Synapse Data Engineering, Synapse Data Warehousing, Semantic model and Power BI
  • Experience in implementing data governance frameworks, including data cataloguing, data loss prevention, and auditing with Purview
  • Strong programming skills in SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis & optimization
  • Effective data integration experience using Fabric data pipelines / Data Flow Gen2 and monitoring tools for performance
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
