**Quality Control Specialist Role Overview

As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products. This position involves inspecting and monitoring daily activities at our supplier's site to ensure that all processes meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dimensional inspection, visual inspection, and weld visual inspection as per project requirements.
• Participate in various activities, including verification of raw materials, component assembly, NDT review, sandblasting, primer application, painting, HDG inspection, completeness inspection, packing inspection, and dispatch inspection as per the packing list, BOM, and customer drawings/specifications.
• Ensure the latest drawings are being used at the supplier's end.
• Review welding documents such as WPQ, PQR, and WPS, and ensure they are properly implemented during fabrication.
• Monitor project status at the vendor site and participate in daily and weekly online meetings with the team to share progress reports and provide feedback.
• Participate in stage inspections as well as final inspections with third-party inspectors (TPI) and customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 6–7 years of industrial experience in fabrication and mechanical production environments.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication inspection processes.
• Thorough understanding of technical drawings, weld symbols, and drawing notes—particularly those marked as critical to quality.
• Extensive experience in welding visual inspection.
• Well-versed in industry standards and codes, including ASME, EN, and ISO.
• Certified Level 2 in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods: RT (Radiographic Testing), PT (Penetrant Testing), UT (Ultrasonic Testing), VT (Visual Testing), and MT (Magnetic Particle Testing).
