Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to migrate an existing project from Zend Framework to Laminas and latest PHP versions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in upgrading projects, ensuring smooth functionality post-migration, and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to speed up delivery and improve quality.

  • Upgrade existing Zend Framework project to Laminas and latest PHP versions.
  • Perform thorough testing post-migration to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Collaborate with clients on feature walkthroughs and development updates.
  • Leverage AI tools for planning, coding, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Our ideal candidate will be experienced in migrating projects, possess strong knowledge of PHP 7/8 versions, and have hands-on experience with Zend and Laminas Frameworks. Additionally, they should be familiar with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of PHP development experience.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Zend and Laminas Frameworks.
  • Prior experience in migrating projects from Zend to Laminas.
  • Strong understanding of PHP 7/8 versions and upgrade best practices.
  • Practical experience with AI coding tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
