Key Responsibilities

The role of IT Application Manager entails overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the Factory Digital Twin Simulation cloud solution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring seamless integration of the FDTS into the IT landscape and manufacturing network.
  • Harmonizing data and facilitating effective communication between systems without disrupting business continuity.
  • Conducting structured analysis and managing requirements directly with factories related to Digital Twin functionalities.
  • Ensuring access, quality, and availability of operational data from factories for ETL pipelines as input data for the Factory Digital Twin Shell.
  • Securing and maintaining data structures with factories concerning Products, Processes, and Resources in FDTS.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A successful university degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Profound understanding and experience in production, manufacturing processes, and technologies.
  • Experience in Project and Service Management, IT infrastructure, network services, application management, cybersecurity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS.
  • Experience with databases and queries, SQL.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is preferable.
  • Proven experience in managing digital twin simulations, preferably with Technomatix.
