Policy Center Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Center Developer to join our team. As a Policy Center Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions that meet the business needs of our clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in Guidewire Policy Center Configuration and Integration, as well as hands-on experience in working on GW Integration Gateway Frameworks and common integration design patterns used by Policy Center.

The successful candidate will also have expertise in GW Rating and Admin management, and be proficient in one programming language (JAVA or Python). In addition, they must have certification as a Guidewire Cloud Certified Associate Developer and Guidewire Cloud Certified Integration Specialist.

We are looking for a team player who can work closely with digital product teams and subject matter experts to design and develop approaches for configuration, effort estimation, and build of design documents. The successful candidate will be responsible for coding, unit testing, and contributing to future development as a key member of the development team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new features and enhancements, as well as provide production support for the platform. You will work closely with the development team to identify potential problems and defects, and perform root cause analysis to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the Canadian Personal Line Insurance industry domain and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
