Job Description
As a Senior Lead Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing operational risk policies, procedures, and methodologies in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. You will conduct regular operational risk assessments and reviews to identify and evaluate key operational risks and controls across the organization. Additionally, you will monitor and report on operational risk indicators, incidents, losses, and action plans to senior management and relevant committees.
Your expertise will also be called upon to facilitate operational risk scenario analysis (RCSA) and stress testing to quantify the potential impact and likelihood of extreme events. Furthermore, you will provide guidance and support to SCBU Finance and BU finance teams on operational risk management issues and initiatives. You will work closely with Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Business teams to strengthen Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and revisit Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) periodically.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong knowledge of operational risk frameworks, methodologies, and tools, as well as relevant regulatory standards and guidelines. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential, along with a good understanding of finance and accounting principles. Certification in operational risk management is preferred. A minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in the BFSI/ITeS industry, with at least 3 years of experience in operational risk management, internal audit, or compliance in the financial services industry, is required.
