Job Title: AI Architect

This role is pivotal in driving the strategic implementation and governance of artificial intelligence tools, ensuring precision, security, and compliance in our technological capabilities.

  • Configure data privacy controls to prevent sensitive data training and enforce zero-retention policies.
  • Deliver audit logs, compliance reporting, and monitoring for AI tool usage to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Implement robust guardrails and moderation tools for AI application security and reliability.
  • Track model performance and usage metrics, producing regular reports for leadership.
  • Optimize prompt engineering and evaluate cost/performance trade-offs for AI applications.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to API calls, latency, and integration failures.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a detailed internal guide with setup/configuration steps, governance rules, and best practices. Develop knowledge bases and wikis for developers and end users. Deliver training sessions for IT staff on AI tool management. Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for AI-related incidents. Collaborate with security, compliance, and engineering teams on safe and responsible AI use.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in AI applications engineering or a related role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AI tools, particularly OpenAI and Anthropic.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy controls and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in configuring and managing AI tool environments securely and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
