The Data and AI Leader will be responsible for leading a team of Solution Engineers in delivering services to our Asia Pacific customers. This role requires close collaboration with the Asia Pacific Sales and Field Engineering organization to determine the right set of engagements that drive growth and efficiency.
The Impact You Will Have With Us
- Manage hiring and building the Global Technical Services team in Asia Pacific, scaling the organization and driving efficiency.
- Build a motivated collaborative culture within a hyper-growth team to embody and promote Databricks' customer-obsessed, teamwork, and diverse culture.
- Manage the distribution and allocation of work across the team.
- Build partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders across Field Engineering and Sales to position services that drive customer growth and product adoption.
- Conduct operational reviews of the teams deliverables to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and outcomes.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in leading a team of successful professionals in Data and AI or Cloud in a technology or consulting organization.
- Experience scaling and mentoring field or technical teams from scratch at hyper-growth speed.
- Knowledgeable in and passionate about data-driven decisions, AI, and Cloud software models.
- Great at instituting processes for technical field members to lead efficiency.
- Technical background either in Data & AI or Cloud technologies.
