Financial Manager Role

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Manager to oversee our accounting operations.

This key role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and IND AS.

The selected individual will also oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, General Ledger, Accounts receivable, payroll, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

In addition, they will prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including Balance Sheet, Income statements, cash flow statements, and other related reports.

A strong hold in preparation of monthly MIS reports is required. Furthermore, they will develop financial plans and budgets, monitor performance against budget, and analyse variances.

The successful candidate will work closely with external auditors to share audit data and ensure a seamless audit process.

An extensive knowledge of inventory and fixed assets accounting is also essential.

To succeed in this role, you must identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, General Ledger, Accounts receivable, payroll
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Develop financial plans and budgets, monitor performance against budget, and analyse variances
  • Work closely with external auditors to share audit data and ensure a seamless audit process
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance. CA preferred
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting roles
