Job Overview

This position entails preparing a variety of pastries and desserts according to provided recipes and images.

The ideal candidate will be assigned a station in the pastry kitchen by the Pastry Chef and tasked with familiarizing themselves with different tasks, which may involve working on varying shifts.

Key responsibilities include setting up pastry displays on buffets as needed, assisting with food transportation from main stores to the pastry kitchen, and maintaining a clean and sanitized working area in accordance with health regulations.

The successful candidate will have experience working as a Pastry Cook in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention catering service and possess knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and equipment use.

A minimum of two years' experience and completion of high school or basic education equivalency are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare various pastry and dessert menu items according to provided recipes and photos.
  • Assist with food transportation from main stores to the pastry galley.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized working area.
  • Set up pastry displays on buffets as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
